Reading a report responsibly

Check the username and the date of a report before using its information. Follower counts, public videos and account settings can change, while an existing report remains a saved snapshot. An unavailable field does not necessarily mean that the value is zero, that an account was deleted or that a person has hidden something. The service depends on the information made available by upstream sources and can return incomplete results or temporary errors. A shared link opens the saved report and does not request a fresh lookup.

What profile signals can establish

Country or posting-region signals are not a precise location and do not establish where a person currently lives. Account age and unusual engagement may help you decide what to investigate, but cannot by themselves prove fraud, impersonation or automation. Gifter level and coin estimates are not a transaction record. Compare relevant evidence in context and avoid presenting uncertain inferences as verified facts about an individual. The tools do not unlock private videos, direct messages or other content that TikTok does not make public.

Checks, retries and automated access

A free check does not grant unlimited access. Browser, account, network and service-wide limits can apply together, including to repeated unsuccessful attempts. Wait for an in-progress check to finish and follow the retry guidance instead of sending parallel requests. Switching IP addresses or request headers to evade limits is abusive automated use. The JSON API requires a separate authorized token and remains subject to limits. Human verification may be required for browser checks, and its availability does not imply permission to scrape reports in bulk.

The service

CheckProfiles displays publicly available information about TikTok accounts for informational purposes. The service is provided “as is”, without guarantees of availability or accuracy.

Accounts and limits

Visitors get one free check, then more free checks after they allow notifications. Further checks require signing in. We may change limits to protect the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use CheckProfiles to harass, stalk or harm anyone, to scrape the service automatically, or to break any law or TikTok’s terms. We may limit or block abusive use.

Estimates

Some values, such as money spent from the gifter level, are estimates and must not be relied on for financial decisions.

TikTok is a trademark of ByteDance Ltd. CheckProfiles is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok or ByteDance.

Acceptable Use, Quotas and Terms Compliance

Questions concerning permitted usage under these terms of use, daily lookup quotas, commercial agency workflows on Plus and Pro plans, or authorized JSON API tokens can be directed to our compliance and billing desk. If an automated firewall rule or rate limit blocked legitimate research activity on your network, share the approximate timestamp and reference details so our engineers can review the threshold.

Commercial teams, journalists, and brand-safety researchers who need clarification on attribution rules, trademark disclaimers, or acceptable public-data citation standards may reach out before publishing findings derived from CheckProfiles snapshots. Reports of abusive scraping or terms violations are investigated promptly to keep the service reliable for normal visitors.
