Privacy policy — CheckProfiles

Saved reports and sharing
A report is a saved snapshot of public profile information, rather than a private message or a live connection to your TikTok account. Anyone who receives its link can open it without running another check. Search engines are asked not to index individual reports, but that instruction is not access control. Before sharing a link, consider who will receive the profile details and whether the report is still current. A later change on TikTok does not automatically rewrite a previously saved report.
Sessions and abuse prevention
A browser session supports sign-in, remembers guest checks and helps apply usage limits. Technical identifiers and request counters allow the service to recognize repeated checks without relying on a browser name alone. Changing networks may not reset these limits. When human verification is enabled, the browser contacts Cloudflare Turnstile and our server validates its response before performing the lookup. A verification failure can prevent a check even when the username is valid. These controls help protect availability for other visitors.
Information sent to other services
Looking up a profile requires sending the requested username to the services used to retrieve public TikTok information. Choosing a social sign-in provider takes you to that provider to authenticate; do not enter your Google or TikTok password into the profile checker. Public images and videos may load from their hosting services. If you request deletion or report a privacy concern, include the relevant username or report link so the record can be identified, without sending passwords or authentication tokens.
Overview
CheckProfiles is a free tool that displays public information about TikTok accounts. We collect as little data as possible to run it.
Data we process
When you check a username, we fetch the public profile from TikTok and save the result as a report with its own link. We keep basic technical data, such as your IP address, to give one free check, enforce limits and keep the service secure.
Signing in
If you sign in with Google or TikTok, we receive your name, profile picture and account ID (and your email address from Google). We use them only to keep you signed in and never post anything on your behalf.
Public TikTok data
Reports only contain data TikTok makes publicly available. We do not access private accounts, private videos or any information that requires logging in to TikTok.
Cookies & analytics
Session cookies support sign-in, remember guest checks and help enforce usage limits. If analytics is enabled, it helps us understand traffic and improve the site.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your account or a report about your TikTok account at any time by contacting us.
Data Protection Inquiries and Report Removal Requests
If you want us to delete a saved public TikTok snapshot, erase a signed-in member profile, or clarify how technical session identifiers and Cloudflare Turnstile checks are processed under this privacy policy, submit a request through our dedicated privacy channel. Please include the relevant TikTok @username or the saved /r/ report URL so we can locate the exact record without asking for passwords or external login credentials.
Once a valid removal request is verified against the public handle or report link, our team permanently purges the cached snapshot from active storage so the shared URL no longer resolves. We also answer questions regarding browser cookies, optional analytics preferences, and data minimization practices in accordance with applicable data protection standards.
